THE BALANCE STUDY

A Group Acupuncture Study

We are studing how a group-based acupuncture program can alleviate the side effects of cancer treatment, and whether acupuncture can reduce medication usage.

You're Eligible if:

You are over the age of 18 years old.
You experience any adverse effect from cancer treatment, including but not limited to, pain, digestive concerns, nausea, insomnia, hot flashes, and fatigue.
Have undergone or undergoing through cancer treatment.
Must be able to attend at least six acupuncture sessions.
Must be willing to travel to Arthur Child Cancer Centre, in Calgary, Alberta.
Have not received acupuncture sessions within the last three months.
