Hello

My name is Bobbie-Ann Craig, I am a Masters Student in the Faculty of Science in Health, Exercise, and Sport Psychology.

Supervisor: Dr. Meghan McDonough

Research Project: Exploring what types of social support and supportive behaviours are perceived as supportive and are associated with greater physical activity in exercise classes for people living with cancer.

My Story

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Distinction from the University of Alberta and am extremely excited to be continuing my academic career at the University of Calgary! The combination of my undergraduate studies, involvement in athletics, and past experiences with cancer have led to my interest in the psychosocial aspects of exercise oncology. My thesis will be exploring what types of social support and supportive behaviours are perceived as supportive and are associated with greater physical activity in exercise classes for people living with cancer!

Upon completing my Master’s degree, I plan to obtain a PhD in Counselling Psychology.
